When this was announced, we were butting our heads against Mimiron, and I thought we'd surely use the extension (when available) to get past him and move on. Either I was expecting 3.2 sooner than realistically possible or I really underestimated our ability, but here we are a few weeks later and now butting our heads against Yoggy! So no, I really don't think we'll be using the extension for Ulduar (10). We saw drastic improvement in how long it took to clear trash and bosses the last few weeks, and this gave us the time we needed to learn the Mimiron and Vezax fights.I realize now there really is a fine line of when to use the extension and when not to... While I was initially excited about the feature, I now believe that perfecting the early fights of a raid through practice and repetition will adequately gear your group and speed up your run each week allowing you more time to work on the boss at which you're stuck. On a side note, when is Blizz going to revisit the tier groupings? I appreciate the upcoming change where a single token can be exchanged for any tier slot. However, we run an unconventional 10m (3 pallies, 2 spriests, 2 shaman, druid, mage and warlock), and having 60% of the raid after the Conqueror tokens BLOWS... Especially when we've seen only 1 such token drop in the last month. So 40% of our raid is near full t8 (a few with near complete offsets as well) while the majority just gets more and more bitter at the oh-so-crappy RNG... QQ
