@JeffTo be fair, teenage males have 2 significant social disadvantages. The first is the sudden flood of testosterone, which at that time is mostly foreign to their systems, and can make even the most well-adjusted of humanity behave like baboons in mating season with the proper dosage. The second is the fact that the human brain isn't fully developed until around age 25, making them 6-12 years away from their highest form of rational thinking. These disadvantages, however, are not insurmountable, and if a person is raised to be respectful throughout their childhood, it is likely that they will continue the trend into their teenage years.@FreezeIt does seem like treating the symptoms rather than the disease, but going straight to the disease itself is well beyond the scope of this, or indeed any anti-defamation group. Keep in mind though, that defending statements like the one made by Docp involves a refusal to give up synonymous usage of a word for both naming a broad group of people, and as an insult. That in itself is a symptom in a less acute form. Luckily, at that stage, it's quite self-treatable by simply using a different, more accurate word.
