Well Blizzard has stated before that the film will be set approximately one year before WoW...and it'll be based around a "kick ass" human, that's not Varian Wrynn. So do you think they've changed their minds?

Personally I wish they would put the history of Warcaft on the big screen. Who here wouldn't love to see a Sargeras-controlled Medivh opening the very first Dark Portal and allowing the Orcs to come through to Azeroth for the first time?

The First War, ending with Anduin Lothar landing on the shores of Lordaeron would be an awesome first film...

you have a good idea here - 3 parter, WC1, 2 and 3 - like lotro...random lore before wow far less interesting.

If I remember right, they said they thought of that, but they said that it would seem to Lord of the Rings like, so they're going to try and do something different.

fatal flaw clearly - a new 3 parter brilliant fantasy is exactly what we all need. I have no films to look forward to at christmas since frodo sailed away on that ship QQ
