WoW Moviewatch: I'm MT Act I
Sometimes, you come across something really special. I definitely think I'm MT Act I by Gforce resoundingly qualifies. The author apologizes on his WarcraftMovies.com page for a poor translation, but I had absolutely no problem with it at all. The subtitles sometimes were a little tough to read, but I'm not sure how much I needed the them in the first place.
The video's about ten minutes long, and I don't feel like any of the time was wasted. The characterizations of the Horde races were brilliantly executed, and each class is distinct and well-represented in the eyes of a knowledgeable WoW player. (This actually leads to the only translation error I really noticed, since the subtitles call the Shaman a Druid.)
The action is clean and simple. And, while I know I lose Man Points for saying this, it was absolutely adorable. The whole darn thing made me smile, and I was totally thrilled to see another take on World of Warcraft animation. Check it out and enjoy. I'm definitely curious to know your thoughts.

Loved it. Adorable is pretty much the best word to describe it, unfortunately. Amazing artwork and audio editing.
Great find!

Charging a critter to run from PvP.
Such a key move, I've definitely used that one before.

Definitely heard a "hadoken!" when they were attacking the pig.

Now that's a version of Pegasus Fantasy I have not heard. Yes this was adorable ^_^

Like Risa said, the opening is a direct spoof of the Saint Seiya opening. Love the main characters flying upwards at the end of the intro.

Lyrics seems to be fan-dubbed about wow and the show itself... didnt catch much.
The character design reminds me of wow comics done by a Korean artist on his blog; here's one of my favorite comics by him:

This is both a great and refreshing approach. If this were a weekly show, I'd be a big fan.

That was so awesome.
If this was the WoW Movie, I'd watch it. (That's not saying that I won't already see the WoW movie, but you know what I mean, haha.)

Movie shoots itself in the foot with the very style that makes it look so much different from other machimas: namely, it looks like every other cutesy-style (yeah, I know there's a name for, chibi or something?) anime that is as unoriginal in Japan as it is unseen in WoW machima. So if your a fan of the style then of course you'll love it, but the movie does nothing else of note or spectacular story. Course you have give to the guy making his own 3D models, which isn't an easy task (even though we have seen MUCH more complicated efforts before).
In the spirit of full disclosure, I FARKING HATE this style of animation... BUT that's a personal preference.

They style you were looking to call out is "super deformed", which is used as a comedy element in a few animes. It is however not anime style in itself.

Maybe WoW is the way to cross the cultural barriers that exist in the world! The graveyard scene is funny in ANY culture! The hatred for the Alliance seems to also be a common ground for Horde from ANY country.

That is simply most awesome thing I watched this month. Will watch again.
