At this point in the game, Blizzard would not release an expansion without one of those. They need marketing ploys and ways to suck new players into the game, and also draw back old players who might have cancelled their subscription.

There is simply no enticement in "Now level from 80-90!". There will always be something completely new and fresh in every xpac. BC gave us 2 new races, and WoTLK gave us a new class. There is no way Blizzard would release a new xpac without new races or classes.

Bet on it. Blizzard ain't no fool.
