An internal psychological conflict like what David is suggesting does make for some really great character development.Other character types that might experience this sort of inner turmoil include Warlocks and Death Knights. Both have to somehow reconcile the fact that they use unholy powers typically attributed to their enemies in order to defeat them. In other words: How far can you go before you become the very same thing you're fighting?
