@Candina: In most cases you're right, however this is a completely parallelizable operation. Each dungeon could (theoretically) be run on its own physical server without any scaling issues. There is no logical reason they couldn't throw more hardware at this particular problem.That said, there might be an unnecessary bottleneck or scaling issue somewhere that the server-side updates are working towards removing.
