Are there requirements for heading into Ulduar? Is there a rotation plan in place at all? How are these 25 players selected -- it the method transparent or is it picking favorites? With 45 active members on on a given night, would it be possible to form multiple raid teams? It doesn't have to be 2 25 man runs, but possibly an additional 10 man or two? I know that running multiple raids can sometimes be a logistical nightmare, but if you have capable officers and raid leaders and willing guildies (and enough tanks/healers/DPS), you may be able to pull it off.

Don't you know? Ten-man raids don't count. They're raiding lite, for the folks who aren't good enough to get into the REAL raid scene./sarcasmI don't like that kind of attitude toward raiding, either, especially since I've only just started it myself for the first time since the game's opening. If you're in a raiding guild and you can't get into the 25-man, go for the ten. It may not be as 'prestigious', but you'll still get stuff (even if it isn't quite as good) and practice.

some people don't want to raid 10 mans. I've reached the point with my main where there's nothing to gain from 10 man Ulduar. I won't heal it. Ever since Blizz rape sticked the Ulduar 10 loot to take all the stamina off it and make it equal to naxx 25 loot or worse there's no point. If I cant make it into the 25 man raid for the week I leave my email address for the raid leader and play fallout 3 unless they need me.

The problem is that many people don't want to do 10 man raids because it offers gear a full tier lower than the 25 man version, and the same can be said about emblems (although in 3.2, that changes)The other issue is that organising a 25 man group is hard, and you need to not only find 25 competent members, but you need decent geared players too.

If you're refusing to raid a 10 man because there's no gear for you personally then maybe there's a good reason you're getting left out of the 25 man team. Some guilds reward things like teamwork and selflessness.

@ClbullSo ilvl 219 is a "whole tier" lower than ilvl 226? So I guess that means that Naxx 25 was two tiers above Naxx 10. /sarchasmIn Ulduar 10, you're getting to see the same bosses as in Ulduar 25 with most of the same abilities. A true raider ENJOYS raiding. There are nights when I would rather run a 10 man than a 25 man, but I enjoy both. There aren't any upgrades left for me in Ulduar 10, but I'm going in there tonight with some friends to have fun. It may just be the groups I go with, but you get a lot more /afks and drama in 25 mans whereas 10 mans it's more casual and along the lines of "hey, do you need this for an upgrade?" and jokes going on during boss fights.
