Fan of The Guild? Me too! And you didn't go to Comic-Con last weekend? Me either. Fortunately for us, Microsoft kept the promotion cameras rolling almost the whole week long, and so there's more footage of The Guild at Comic-Con than you probably have time to watch today (although as long as your boss stays away from looking over your shoulder, you can probably give it a try). They went
behind the scenes of the show, Felicia Day
chatted with Xbox Live's Major Nelson, and the cast talked about what it was like to be
around all of the energy at Comic-Con. There's not a lot of new stuff that fans of the show don't already know, but there are
some clips of the panel in there, as well as some shots of the characters as they showed up to the Con: dressed in their in-game costumes.
Some of the videos are also available
right on Xbox Live (and there's quite a bit of Xbox and Microsoft pimping in the videos, but what do you expect -- not only did MS fund the show's season, but they apparently hooked them up with a party bus and a party to go with it at the Con), and
YouTube is also brimming with clips from the panel. Apparently the Whedon-directed music video is
also now available on Xbox Live as well, so that should be something to see. Season 3 is just around the corner, and we're still expecting to see these guys at
BlizzCon in a few weeks, so stay tuned for more Guild news as we hear it.

Oh boy?
I enjoy the Guild and all, but I really don't get some of their hard core followers. They're near as creepy as Zaboo.

I tried getting into that panel. I showed up about 10 min early and waited in line, but 20 minutes into the time the panel was supposed to start, the line hadn't moved and I just left.
I later heard that they opened the doors, but didn't bother to tell the people waiting in line across and down the hall, so we were waiting for something that had already happened.
Way to go, con organizers!

Can we get over her already? Everyone knows that girls don't play wow. It's all a lie.
Vladeon Jul 28th 2009 11:32PM
I see you are missing the point. It's not that she plays wow and is also a girl. It's that she's a girl and is also very attractive. The whole playing video games is just icing on the top.
perhaps you forgot your /sarcasm tag.

WoW is not just for boys. I am a female, a wife, a mom of a 17 month old and I play WoW. Actually my husband and I play. (We are great parents and yes we work as well). Females do play WoW and you might be surprised. Also dont expect females to always have a female toon, because my lvl 70 palidin is a male! Video games and Computer games are not just for boys, us girls like to play.

The whole "The Guild" thing is seeming very played-out as of late.
Brock Jul 28th 2009 10:44PM
It's a cleaver show done by former wow-geeks about the lives of warcraft players. It's well-received and watched by tons of dedicated fans. And, it's funny.
So, exactly how is this "played-out as of late?"
Ryan Jul 28th 2009 10:55PM
God these kinds of people make me embarrassed to play WoW.

Highly amusing show, surpassed only by "The legend of Neil". And i will say i know plenty of girls who play wow. to those who say they dont exsist i say meh! Its like me saying snow doesn't exsist because i've never seen it, even though plenty of others have.
Marcosis Jul 29th 2009 6:38PM
Day is even funnier in her other show:

Lots of girls play WOW guys! I would say 1/2 the people at Blizzcon coming up to our booth last year were girls, and there were some way hot ones too!
I see comments like that all the time, it's like you guys don't want girls to play or something ;)
