Most of the time, actually, Horde get pwned one on one. I've never lost to a Horde unless - I'm fighting three mobs, I have half or less health, or there are at least three...

Do you believe that the NPCs hanging around various low-level outposts are considered Horde?
Yeesh.

I pity the Alliance for the average skill level of their player base. A lot.
