This was probably covered in the mount changes post, but now the paladin & warlock mounts are both buyable and in 3.2 will be buyable at lvl40, I suppose this means the final nail in the coffin for the classic quests to obtain these mounts?

honestly, yes. But there are some of us that enjoy doing that (and you get a nice achievement for doing the quest.)

The quests are still there. They award a feat of strength if you do them.

They have been purchaseable for quite some time. The only change for 3.2 is that the level requirement is being lowered.

I'm aware of that, I was simply saying that now the level has been drastically changed to 40 (rather than 61) a lot of people will not even consider doing this quest plausible, of course it would really consider it a feat of strength waiting so long without an epic land mount.
