Co-ordinates are fairly easy to live without if you realise when looking at the map that the top left is 0,0 and the bottom right is 100,100. After that it's just guess work, but normally it's enough to get away with.

Out of the entire list I would say only Omen is really essential, and none really seem particularly mage specific. Admittedly Ratings Buster is awesome, while I could live without it I'm not sure it would be fun.

The Hit Assist mode cracks me up, it's not exactly hard to monitor how much hit you need. I certainly don't do it on a per mob basis, trash mobs are trash I'm not exactly going to swap out my gear to get that extra % crit for something that doesn't really matter.

IMO it would be nice if the author mentioned other addons which do a similar job rather then just their favourite one.
