Are you kidding? The default UI for one is horrible. Action bars down the bottom which I need to watch as a priority based class, and target frames in the top left corner? Not all of us play on 14 inch monitors. If Blizz allowed you to move all UI elements around like WAR does I would be happy saying you don't need addons, but I find the default UI to be pretty much unplayable.Raid frames are also pretty much as bad, grid solves that problem. And my one "Wouldn't live without" mod is AutoBar. It gives me class bars (God-like for something like a Shaman) and automatically handles and arranges all professions, quest items, trinkets, and consumables. Also considering that if it wasn't for mods we wouldn't have more than one action bar (yes at launch you had like maybe two action bars, but IIRC it was only one, you had to tab through them to access more than 10 spells) visible I say mods are absolutely vital in that they show Blizzard what needs improving.
