Seriously, applying the rules to inappropriate situations is one of the worse mistakes you can make. It's right up there with saying "YHBT".1 and 2 were originally created to keep people being raided from retaliating and to a degree, to keep new kids from posting, but let's face it, we're on the internet and everyone knows what the chans and /b/ are. There's no reason to whisper the words anymore.
