What I find more irritating now are the jokes that there are no male blood elves.. Sure, the current male blood elves are sufficiently "metrosexual" that it is funny, but for petes sake they are OBVIOUSLY male. They have muscles, their shoulders are gigantic like all the other guys in the game.. give me a break. The joke of blood elf males is that they're male but vain.

Well, it would help if one of their "jokes" was not "Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me?" That's kinda nauseating regardless of how you roll.

Oh sure, when everyone is standing around in their underwear you can tell the elves are male, but to be honest... I frequently mistake male elves for female elves once you get them into armor.

Somehow the female animations seem more "butch" than the male's...

The "hot like me" joke is only disgusting if you're a homophobe and have zero sense of humor or pop culture reference. :)

I wish that my girlfriend was hot like a bloodelf. I'm not a homophobe and I'm not in denial, and I'm not afraid to say it when someone is better-looking than I am, so I'll say it loud: Blood Elves are hot. Both genders.

And I am okay with cushions.

But to answer the question, I have tried horde several times, but I can never keep going with it. I think it's probably because I love my Alliance guild so much. I also like the unity that the Alliance has. There are no "WTF Races" that just seem tacked on, like the Undead and the Blood Elves. (Why are they Horde again? Convenience? Oh...well that's silly.) You could say that the Draenei are a little random, but I love their science-fiction/ high-fantasy theme that they have. I have two female Draenei that I enjoy playing very much, and sometimes I go to the Auction House in the Exodar just because I love that city.
The Horde are generally too ugly and dirty for me. Call me weird, but clean is good. I know that the Blood Elves have magic cleaning brooms, and I applaud them for that (I have some Belf characters), but seriously, send those brooms to Orgrimmar. Of course, the Orcs wouldn't like that because Orgrimmar is MEANT to feel a little dirty. I guess if I had to choose between being Bobathin the Noble, sitting comfortably in my Stormwind inn, with the sound of mounts on the cobblestone in my ears and people laughing and having a good time, or being Rottsworth the Undead, sitting in my coffin in the Undercity, wondering when Sylvanas was going to leave the horde, and not being able to travel to Thunder Bluff because the Tauren would keep me in that cave, I would always go back to being Bobathin the Noble.
