No comment about the BE buffing, as anything I say would probably start flames. I will say, though, that the BE males' forward-leaning running animation makes me laugh so hard that I can't play one.More on-topic, though, I play both Alliance and Horde, and I like both sides. The Alliance has that "classic fantasy" thing going on for it (except for maybe the Draenei, but they have the "weird science fantasy" thing, and I'm good with that too), while the Horde early quests make it pretty clear that they consider themselves survivors, which is also something I like.I honestly don't understand sticking to one faction and never playing the other, as it seems like deliberately missing out on a huge chunk of the game. I can understand faction pride, but there are limits. *shrug*

/agreedi played allies from day one because my friend said he would always be online so we could quest and stuff but quickly found out he wouldnt be...then one day when our server was down i decided i'd try a horde toon....i made a belf pally just because thats the only pally race (obvious) and i liked it....then a few months later i was hacked and decided theres no point me staying on this server ill go to the horde and reroll...so now i play both sides when im bored...

I've played Horde since launch and probably always will. While I agree with you that I'm missing out, I don't like to split up my efforts. For this reason, all of my characters are also on the same server, except for the random 22 Ally hunter I have when the server goes down.I'd love to experience more of the Alliance side of things, lore-wise (the Onyxia attunement chain always sounded amazing), but I doubt I ever will.

I started out Alliance but couldn't stand the people on the server i tried, they seemed like a bunch of little kids, so i went horde and really liked the people. At first, I was troll (a hunter), then BE for the pally. Leveled both to max but really got sick of them. Then went Undead, then Tauren (love both of them) and eventually tried a BE mage. Surprisingly I found I liked playing the mage.I eventually tried alliance again however I find two of the races unbelievably irritating. Can't stand draenei and the whole space goat thing, and night elves I just want to beat with a stick with their whole 'we're more superior' thing (plus I love tauren's and they got screwed over bad by night elves). Human's are okay and gnomes are certainly goofy and that's always appealing, but I gotta say I really like dwarves. I love that they are sort of the WoW party animals, always looking for a good pint and a fight.I really am horde through and through, but i do play my little dwarf every once in a while cause (a) it's nice for a change, and (b) it's good to get to know the lore from the alliance stand point.

Totally agree here. :)I started out with a NElf warrior, found it kinda 'eh', then rolled a BElf hunter. Ding! Love to play him. I eventually rolled a (female) gnome warrior, and adore playing her too. She's just so cutely tough. And now I split my time between my warrior and hunter, Alliance and Horde. They're both so wonderful to play for many different reason's, mostly the ones MusedMoose stated, that I feel kind of startled when I run into someone who is staunchly one or the other.Though I do have to say, Alliance definitely has one thing going for them. No Barren's Chat. -_-;

I would agree if I wasn't so freaking pissed off about the Forsaken. I'd be the first to be sympathetic to their plight if they, as a group, they were bent on wiping out all life. If Sylvanas actually lead them to something other than vengeance, I'd be her greatest advocate. As it stands, I just want to give her the clean death she deserved.I LOVE and I mean LOVE Thrall but Bizz has essentially castrated him and his ideals for the sake of amping up a pointless conflict. I'd love to play a Tauren but I'd have to spit on every forsaken I'd see in the cities just to have an ounce of integrity. I feel almost the same about the Belfs. Those are two groups that are rotting the Horde from the inside and I won't be part of it. Can I please join a third faction? Thrall-Jaina, Argent Crusade? PLEASE!!
