I've played Horde since launch and probably always will. While I agree with you that I'm missing out, I don't like to split up my efforts. For this reason, all of my characters are also on the same server, except for the random 22 Ally hunter I have when the server goes down.

I'd love to experience more of the Alliance side of things, lore-wise (the Onyxia attunement chain always sounded amazing), but I doubt I ever will.
