Patch 3.2 confirmed for this week on the French forums?

It's entirely possible that my French is failing me (it's been a while since I studied it, and it might be getting rusty), but as far as I can make out, this blue post on the French customer support forums claims that patch 3.2 is coming "next Wednesday."
This is in the course of answering a routine question about where to get patch files and so forth - a surprising place for a patch release date confirmation, but I'll take my info where I can get it.
I'm not sure whether "next Wednesday" ("mercredi prochain" in the French) means August 5 (in which case the North American realms would get the patch tomorrow), or whether it means August 12 (in which case we'd get it the 11th), but I'd lean towards the former. So get your ducks in a row, faithful readers, and get ready for the Call of the Crusade.
[Thanks, Slainte]

The Post in Full -
"Good morning Zahor,
Know firstly, that you do not need to re-install your game. You only have to keep a copy on another disc then to copy it out on your original hard disk so that it works, in that way, there is not installation to be made or of updatings.
Then, If you need to re-install game, use DVD of WOTLK simply, your game will be completely re-installed in version 3.0.1.
During this time, you can go on sites of type:
- (http: // www.arakkoa.com).
- (http: // www.wowwiki.com / Patch_mirrors).
updatings are sorted out by order, it is necessary you to find all updatings until version 3.1.3 and 3.2 from next Wednesday."

If my French is right, according to the posts from non-blues afterwards, that the Ptach is not this week but next week (august 12). According to one of the posters, "premier mercredi" is this week. "mercredi proshain" referes to the following Wednesday. I understand that the blue could've been using "loose French" similar to how we use a looser less-correct form of English.

My main language is french, so it does really say "next wednesday", meaning tomorrow the 4th.
Plus, there's an extended maintenance, sooo...

Definitely looks like he is promising 3.2 for Wednesday in France, Tuesday in N. America so tomorrow or next week

This seems very probable. Since the PTR version is retail from what I've heard, and it's very stable, just some minor hotfixes here and there (though I must admit I didn't played in the PTR myself, so I'm just repeating what I've been told). The point is: If not tomorrow, Tuesday 11th for sure!
I hope it's tomorrow....

blergh, right when my gear's finally good enough to start on Ulduar 10-man and I don't need to grind heroics for anything. haha

Bah and i just bought 100% riding yesterday after waiting for 3.2 to be released... ah well, now to farm for a 150% flyer and cold weather flying.

I was really, really feeling good about a release tommorrow for some reason. But tommorow...next Tuesday...I'll take either in all honesty.

Agreed!

My French is rusty as well, but I do think that 'next Wednesday' refers to next week Wednesday. The comments in that thread suggest the same.

I'm french and it's not this week, it's next week
sorry

I was really hoping that it would be this week, but I dunno. Shouldn't all of the Q&A's be out? I saw GCs unofficial shadow priest Q&A thread, but not an official priest one. Did I miss it? Would the patch come without it?
avis Aug 3rd 2009 2:49PM
There has already been a blue post saying that all Q&As will not be out by the time 3.2 is
Takashi Aug 3rd 2009 1:42PM
You would think they would want to do the patch this week to give them at least 2 weeks to fix all the inevitable bugs (extended downtimes, rolling restarts, etc....) before Blizzcon. Unless they're really confident this patch will deploy without any major issues.
Agerath Aug 3rd 2009 1:44PM
Being that I'm half French I can confirm that 'next Wednesday' usually means this coming Wednesday.
However, if this was posted today, I'd expect it to drop on the 12th, since the blue would probably have said 'apres-demain'
Reuben Aug 3rd 2009 1:45PM
I'm voting for a week from this upcoming Wednesday (Tuesday for us) simply because the Priest Q&A is MIA and I highly doubt that the patch will release sans a class Q&A.
Colin Aug 3rd 2009 1:49PM
"ce mercredi" == "this wednesday"
"mercredi prochain" == "next wednesday
Daniel Aug 3rd 2009 2:05PM
Yes, but the translation is idiomaticly confusing. "Next Wednesday" in English, when spoken on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday is ambiguous. This coming Wednesday just is next Wednesday; but we would almost never say next Wednesday, we say this coming Wednesday or simply Wednesday in that situation. If we meant next week Wednesday we typically say "a week from Wednesday". We use "next Wednesday" to refer to the following Wednesday while still in the prior week (Thursday, Friday, Sat.)
As least that's how it's done in the part of America I'm from. So to get the precise translation you'd need to know how the phrase "next Wednesday" is used in French.

Sorry to rain on your parade but it’s not going to happen this week.
Why? Simple!
If it’s Monday and you’re saying next Wednesday, it means Wednesday next week.
If it were Wednesday this week, the guy would just have said “Wednesday”
I’m French, you can trust me on this one
