I don't see a whole lot of reason to mess with the low level spells for a priest.

Even if it wasn't for the mana issues, the [Lesser Magic Wand] and [Greater Magic Wand] are still obscenely overpowered at low levels. You almost do more DPS with a wand than you do with magic (with any class).

Pain, maybe a Mind Blast, then Wand it to death.
