Call of the Crusade Trailer

A lot of people were wondering if there was going to be an official Blizzard trailer for World of Warcraft's Patch 3.2, Call of the Crusade, and lo' and behold, there is! Just not out in its usual promptness.
The trailer itself is made up of mostly in-game footage of the various events in the new dungeon, the Argent Tournament. We see some boss fights in the coliseum raid, a few overviews of the tournament grounds, etc... The new Battleground, the Isle of Conquest, is also featured in the trailer, and there are some good shots of PvP going on there.
There isn't really any lore or story to it - other than that the Argent Tournament is preparing us for Icecrown Citadel. Nothing we don't already know. You can get a cool desktop background though.

Incidentally, the jousting is just for the very first fight.

Yeah, I’m not really feeling the jousting either. Why don’t they just let us use our abilities on mounts? Now, that’d be cool. Casting lightning bolt at people while atop my nether drake and being fired at by the hunter who’s riding his dragonhawk.

I love wow but less and less as time goes on.

It's nice, although I hoped for a more lore-focused one like the 3.1 cinematic. And I laughed hard when I saw that there is very few Alliance in this trailer. :P Now everyone knows which side Blizzard play. xD

3.1 Trailer was somuch better. This was actually disappointing. It looks _extremely_ amateurish for a company like Blizzard.

I agree, anyone remember the 2.4 trailer? I actually put that on my MP3 player it was so epic!
wow.com should list all of the patch trailers of the past and poll us on which is think is the best.

In some flimsy offer of defence, you could say that with Blizzcon around the corner a lot of prep would go into that.
Tbh, that doesn't wash with me either.
The whole concept of 3.2 just seems like random filler material.

But about blizzcon being around the corner I highly doubt the people responsible for trailers have anything to do with blizzcon.
