Emergency maintenance for several U.S. realms [Updated]

As you can see, Blizzard is performing urgent maintenance on a few servers tonight with no word on when they will be done. Included on the list is the realm in which my Tauren druid resides -- so I still have no idea how her new forms look.
Also included on the list is Bronzebeard, the realm that WoWathon has been leveling on. Last I looked, they were holding Hogger raids on another server.
Readers have been sending tips about many realms getting stuck on loading screens and other issues, but only a few of these realms are listed on Blizzard's urgent maintenance list. The full list is after the break.
Update 2:43AM: Crygil confirms that they are bring the realms back online at this time. And my new Tauren drood forms are so gorgeous, I may have to go feral.

Yeah this sounds about right. i was on my 80 lock doing 25 ulda and d/cd on Y.S. Couldn't get back in, kept getting stuck in Authenicating -.-

A little off-topic right off the bat, but Sylvanas and Varimathras have new voices. Am I just now noticing this and it was that way pre-3.2, or did someone at Blizz just up and go, "New recordings for the Forsaken bosses!"

This is because Sylvanas will play a major role in Icecrown and they were 'unable' (or unwilling) to get Piera Coppola back. In a similar stream of thought, King Varian also has a new voice.

Their new voices are a lot worse than before... they sound forced, with emphasis on syllables that don't normally have emphasis.

Of course, my server (Suramar) is always the one getting broken during patch day. Last 3.1, we were one of... 5 or so that were basically out of commission nearly 24 hours.
I called it in /2 last night that no one would really be able to function, no one believed me. Hah...

Yeah I was getting stuck at the loading screen for a while, thought it was an addon issue until I saw the breaking news.

Just my luck that all my characters above level 10 are on servers on this list.
On a side note Mal'ganis didn't make the list so I'm just going to assume that server was blasted into oblivion.

on xt earlier tonight are raid was getting like 15 bombs...a few other guilds had the same problem......someone found a blue post about it but we basically we where hearing that ulduar had bugs etc....nothing new there, it happens...sux but w/e

Ha. We got 5-10 bombs PER pile last night on XT... We got that achievement to kill Bomb bots within a certain amount of time, but then it was too much. ALL of the XT piles spawned junk too, so previous tanking locations needed to be modified.
I have some good screenshots I want to post up later.

idk if it's my internet, but i logged on and I had 23004 latency, relogged, and kept getting DCd when I tried to log on D=
