quote:"Nor did he address that Disc priests, I think the only caster class in the entire game that gets no scaling with their principle stats." Now I have to say that may be over-stating things a little. Disc priests benefit from spellpower, and their healing is helped a lot with crit. Haste is less than fantastic, especially with Borrowed Time, however there are other class specs that have a lot more trouble with haste (*cough* Shadow Priest *cough*). Spirit is a relatively crappy stat, and other caster specs can make more use of it, sure, but honestly I don't think any healer would give up, say, spellpower or crit for spirit. The increase in effectiveness of your spells with additional spellpower and whatever procs you gain on crit usually outweigh whatever piddly gains you get from Spirit. I'm in no way happy with the way Priests have been developed. In fact I canceled my account so that I don't have to pay Blizz to continue not fixing the Shadow tree... however, Priests do in fact scale with their principle stats, just not as well as other healers I'd say (i.e. infinite mana HoT-o-matic Druids and infinite mana tank-blastin Pallys).
