Breakfast Topic: How would you be honored ingame?

It's fun to wonder, though, and I've settled on two wishes. The first would be making my beloved main into a Thunder Bluff NPC among the Druid trainers, kitted in full Tier 6 with an Origin of Nightmares. She would be friend and counselor to all young Druids and full of unsolicited advice for them, most of it incorrect. The second, less dignified, and perhaps more realistic legacy I would leave to the game is a series of cow-shaped impact craters at the bottom of various Northrend cliffs and in Crystalsong under the Dalaran sewers' exit pipe, in tribute to the several falling deaths incurred while mindlessly jumping from heights without the benefit of Cold Weather Flying. Little signs could be posted below informing players of the sites' historical significance, although I'm not sure how Blizzard could squeeze the phrase "Oh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.........." onto the flavor text.
On the chance that Blizzard ever decides to honor your august self ingame, what would you want honored and how?

Maybe, though if they were going to add a commissar cain, they ought to just go all the way
Deman Aug 8th 2009 11:46AM
I would want either an NPC Warlock character called Deman the Depraved who would wander around the Undercity and sometimes teleport to other Horde cities with his voidwalker Krakdok and give out the quests for the next new Warlock pet. He would occasionaly complain about Meeting stones taking the Warlocks job and mumble foul things about rogues.
And being a Monty Python fanatic I would also want him to sell the non-combat pet, The Killer Rabit, its eyes would glow red and have blood on its mouth and would say on the icon, "Its got nasty, vicious, pointy teeth".

As the main tank in my guild, I generally grab the boss's attention in fights. And I have the odd ability to be killed several seconds into the fight, forcing the off tank to MT the rest of the way. Therefore, if I were commemorated, it'd be via a little engineering item that acts like a misdirect on whatever target the user chooses, but there would be a chance that the misdirect target would die instantly. Trinket called Bikhai's Pendant of Inescapable Blows or something along those lines.

I think my lock would be wandering about in SW, wearing a t-shirt that said 'I summoned my whole raid and all I got was this lousy t-shirt'. She would occasionally mutter something along the lines of 'When I summon rogues I feel dirty' or 'I don't hear a thank you!'

I would like to be a crazy gnome mage in the underbelly of Dalaran who complains about bad weather and throws fireballs at the wall every once in a while.

How I'd like to be honored? Well, I'd love a whole entire expansion based around me!
How I would be honored? Probably some random construction worker still trying to fix the redridge mountain bridge.

Magatha's estranged brother, now living in Bloodhoof Village, is a Clint Eastwood-in-Gran-Torino type who guards his little patch of Mulgore turf very zealously. When he says "Get off my lawn!" to non-Taurens, you better do it. Just a nod to older WoW players.

Farfalla Aug 8th 2009 1:03PM
An invisible NPC in Sylvanas' throne room, called Farfalla of Quel'thalas. She's visible only if you:
A) are a holy-specced blood elf priest or
B) /bow before Sylvanas and then sign up for Arathi Basin and
C) if you have Little Fawn out.
She'd sell a single random non-combat pet on a spawn timer of between 4 and 7 hours, one of the rarer ones like the raptors or the oozeling or the black tabby.

Forgot to add- wearing my T6, with that sodding staff off Gurtog that was always taken by the druids.

More than anything, I want to be a human paladin NPC who flys into Dalaran, dismounts high up, and bubbles til he lands. Please Blizzard, you dashed all my other pally hopes, grant me this one.

Seeing as my favorite helm model has always been the Wolfshead Helm, and in fact I have it set to outfitter whenever I shift to Tauren form, I'd want an heirloom version of that helm named after me.
Dreadskull Aug 8th 2009 1:13PM
I'd want an NPC after my Warlock who'd try to explain his entire background story which is so twisted and filled with loops (now that I look back at the stories I've done for him >_>; ) that you'd get a "patience" buff and achievement for reading it all.
That or he'd just be an NPC who emotes lifetapping himself quietly in a corner.
SunwellVialist Aug 8th 2009 3:29PM
Love this one.
*Xyz stands in the corner, lifetapping himself quietly*

As for falling deaths? As a Druid? Look up Kthonis on Wow Armory. I had my wings long before achievements came out... and still manage to fall to my death occasionally. Can we say "Fail-ass druid" together now class?
anonymous Aug 9th 2009 9:55AM
Take solace you didn't die because you jumped and tried shapeshifting only to realize you're not playing your druid. Not that I've ever done that...
Midas Aug 8th 2009 1:21PM
My ingame homage would be a shadow priest who hangs out by the trainers and tried to convince young priests to go to the dark side.
that or someone wandering around the newest city, constantly changing specs and griping about being forced to heal.
or possibly just hanging out near the arena npcs, heckling the pvpers.
Delacey Aug 8th 2009 1:21PM
A paladin npc that ally have to kill in a bg to capture his tower. When he gets down to 5% health he bubble hearths out with a /mock emote :-)
Chuque Aug 8th 2009 1:26PM
Easy: my hunter, old and retired now, as a Stable Master NPC.
Seraph Aug 8th 2009 1:27PM
A 100 foot golden statue of my toon in the middle of Dalaran that breathes fire and shouts "REMEMBER ME."
