I wonder how much money he was paid to get him to appear at BlizzCon? This doesn't seem like the kind of thing he'd normally do, he definitely isn't a WoW player. I'd say he definitely had to be paid a bit to get him to show up.

Lets clear this up once and for all. Ozzy plays WoW, in fact he is quite addicted to it, you can read all about it in MetalEdge magazine, Febuary issue he has a level 80 Forsaken warlock on Rexxar was leveling a DK.

yep wolfs right Ozzy went on about how Sharon really doesn't get it but his drinking has dropped to almost nil since he's been playing so she is ok with it..he actually wanted her in the commercial after he screamed Sharon to appear and save his ass but the producer had his own ideas. His son also plays

Huh, had no idea that Ozzy played, but if its helping him to cut down on drinking, hey. More power to him.

He just traded one addiction for another really..he said he played well over 90 hours a week on average.

@WendyThat picture says it was uploaded by Soulis. Is that the resident Webmaster of the site for Ozzy or something? Just making sure it's not some picture this Soulis uploaded of his own character and not Ozzy's.If it is Ozzy, color me impressed. I'm not the biggest fan of Ozzy's music, but I'd be starstruck if I found out he played with me. I wonder if he's ever used his star power to get a position in a raid or anything?

Dude, you're a jackass. First you refuse to believe that he plays now you are accusing him of using who he is for raid positions. The answer to your question is no..he is in a smallish guild of close friends and a couple other people from the music industry among them are Chris Caffery of Savatge and Joacim Cans of Hammerfall.

@wolfsterne I never accused him of using his identity for raid positions. I just asked. Is it a crime to ask if celebrities would use their status in games? Believe it or not, some celebrities might like being famous. I was just asking questions aloud. Relax. I'm sure he wouldn't really use his celebrity status like that, especially since doing so in a pug would remove the comfort of anonymity he'd have with his WoW character. His playing with other rockers does make sense. I don't know who Hammerfall is, but I do have a song by Savatage("Strange Wings").Sorry for coming across as a jackass, it was not my intention.
