Sunday Morning Funnies: Lookin' familiar
Once again, I have a new comic to list! Keep the tips coming. Somewhere in the list today is the secret identity of last week's "mystery" picture!
- Check out Noobs, a new comic, and one that is not to be confused with NoObz, which isn't WoW-related this week.
- Scout Report: We finally find out why Scout's sister is hanging around! This of course leads to a rather strange conversation, about kittens (of a sort).
- Cru the Dwarf: Bless This Thy Holy Boot. Well, they've reached the Scarlet Monastery. The message at the bottom says it all!
- Dark Legacy Comics: Gretta's Plan.
- Experience Points: Vincent is planning his trip to BlizzCon with his new pal, Steve.
- Experience Points: Vincent hangs out with Steve on patch day. I am kind of afraid of his sandwich.
- LFG: Meet the Mistress of Magma.
- NPC: Overcome.
- NPC: A break seems to be in the couple's future, but Smelly Demographics shows the flaw in the first activity suggested. So, they decide to take a different sort of trip, because they've had Too Much WoW.
- Check out the latest from Teh Gladiators.
- Kuo: This guest comic is awesomely cute, and in translation. For regular comics, evidently, Sylvanas just wasn't as cool before she died.
- Beyond the Tree: No purse, no pursuit.
- WoW-eh: The Mis-Adventures of....

I'm not sure if it's the tremendously unfunny comic itself, or the lackluster art, but this comic just doesn't do it for me.
Cadychan Aug 9th 2009 11:29AM
@Sengir - I'm sorry to hear you don't like the comic. Good thing there's a whole varied list of other comics to cleanse your pallet with. I never said I was a good comedic writer, but hey, I try. :P

@Sengir
I'm not exactly sure I want to know what you consider good artwork if you call that "lackluster". If you're looking for high art you're looking in the wrong medium, but Kissless is as hot as any webcomic character has a right to be. xD Never mind the artist is extremely skilled with conveying emotion through their expressions.

@Sengir
I think it's also harsh to call her art lackluster, I think you can see that a fair amount of effort goes into the comic and when you look at the whole webcomic you can see how well the art is improving. I think she's really gotten good at doing facial expressions.

@Sengir - Aww, come on! Kissless is hot! I'm looking for excuses to write her into my own little comic strip...

A wonder installment of WoW, eh? as always. Cadistra looks very pretty relaxing in the first panel.
Sengir, you forgot the possibility that the comic not doing it for you has nothing to do with a flaw in the comic itself. Something to remember for the future.

Today's Cru the Dwarf made me laugh out loud. Spread some gospel....*snicker* XD
Also, that Korean guest comic on Kuo was ADORABLE! Would definitely like to see more stuff from him. :3
Kadamon Aug 9th 2009 11:59AM
I'd have to say Cru's is the best of the bunch...I've read that specific page 4 times since it came up and reading Uther say that makes me laugh every single time.
Yours is a close second though. XP

"I'm about to spread some gospel"
LOL there goes my soda
Amaxe Aug 9th 2009 3:00PM
I could never get into Cru. I've tried it, but I never really liked the humor or the story. Guess it's just a matter of personal taste though.
I think my list of comics is shrinking tho. WoW Eh, remains high on the list, I like Disgraph though that seems never to be updated anymore. The rest of the webcomics I follow are only incidentally about games
Disgraph Aug 9th 2009 9:20PM
@ Amaxe
Sorry to be letting you down :(. Haven't given up on the comic, don't worry. Just finding less time here and there to do the comics I want to do. Not a fan of backing down off some of the ideas I have. Need to suck it up and roll with it I guess.
Gnomeofdoom Aug 9th 2009 11:27AM
You do know that LFG comic is not a wow comic no matter what people think its stated on the site its just a fantasy universe probley closer too dnd than wow.
Ayane Aug 9th 2009 12:44PM
It's still one of the best! :)
...and were it not for this site....I'd have never have found it.
Thank you wow.com. :-D
Zach Aug 9th 2009 12:53PM
It started out very WoW-inspired, though. It just kind of grew into its own thing. Still a pretty good comic and definitely worth a read.
