Too bad the Plasma Blast wasn't clearly mentioned in the phase 1 explanation, its a pretty big part of it.
Usually we have only one tank (me - protection warrior) in the first phase tanking. We alternate our CD's for the Plasma Blast:
1) Shieldwall.
2) Guardian spirit.
3) Pain suppression.
4) Usually not needed, but if it happens I pop Last Stand and the healers are able to heal through it.
