Missing the link to Moonglade's post.
I find achievements fun and would go as far as calling myself an achievement junkie or addict. It's something to do if I don't feel like running a heroic or want to visit some old content. Working towards Loremaster has given me a lot of interesting quest chains I never knew existed.
All the while I'm doing achievements I'm grabbing the ore from the zone. I get my achievement and I make some money. It's a win-win.
