My problem with hit is that there is TOO much of it. The majority of caster gear with no regen (i.e. DPS caster gear) has hit on it. The reason this is an issue is that with 3 pieces of my tier 8 or TWO pieces of my tier 9, I get almost completely capped. So I have no use for more than one or two other hit pieces. However, like I said, its EVERYWHERE. The ideal haste+crit pieces are rare as hell and (of course) they are in huge demand. I also like the idea of balancing stats, but I would like to have the problem in the other direction. Before the cap, hit is a huge boost in DPS. However, when you're in my boat and most of the good pieces that drop have a stat that no longer does anything, it gets frustrating.

I feel your pain. I literally can't pick up any more Tier gear (only using one piece of T8.5 and 7.5 each, as a hunter)- I'm ALREADY 20 rating over the cap, and it's all got MORE hit.Hit needs to start buffing Crit (a little) after the cap. Why not? More hit, lets you hit more accurately, hence, higher chance of hitting something vital.
