Unfortunately, I'm finding that a lot of the warrior gear for tier 8 and 9 are very heavy on armor penetration and low on hit rating. Same goes for most of the new DPS plate I've gotten from Heroic Trial of the Champion. I've been able to keep my hit in balance at 265 after a few recent upgrades by swapping gems around, but I've discovered that when I upgrade to the tier 8.5 chest and either get the new legs I want from H ToC or the Tier 9 legs with emblems of triumph, I'm going to lose more than 100 hit between those pieces, which while mean I end up gemming almost pure hit or replacing a crit strike trinket with a hit trinket. It's not fun to try and balance this when you're scraping by for better gear so you can run higher level content. Gear check whores won't even look at you if your score is below "x", but if you have your score above "X" your hit might likely be in the toilet or you're sacrificing a bunch of other stats via gems to get to where you need to be.Maybe I'll find once I actually have the gear in hand that it's easier to balance it than I think it will be. I hope that's the case.

I share the same sentiments on Hit on plate gear, my warrior needs more. I think the gear is orientated towards fury as Precision helps balance it, this isn't good for me as an arms warrior I am substantially below the hit cap but have an absurd amount of armor pen.
