There's absolutely no reason to lie when leaving a "bad" group. If you've been defeated several times and feel that your group isn't good enough to beat that particular challenge, just explain that to the other members - in a polite manner, of course - then move on.Why lie? Better yet, why make up ridiculous excuses (usually related to real "emergencies") before leaving? We can see right through them, you know...I've organized hundreds of "PUGs" during my time in WoW, and I can tell you right now that I won't get offended if someone tells me -after we have "wiped" several times in a row - that they simply aren't enjoying that experience and/or are becoming frustrated by it, and just wish to go do something more entertaining with their limited time. That person would be perfectly entitled to feel that way!Just avoid coming across as rude/conceited before you go. Don't tell us that we're idiots, don't tell us that we're "noobs", just tell us that you're no longer enjoying being a part of our group and leave in good terms. It's THAT simple! PS: I would also like to thank Manatank for his comments about emotional manipulation. That's a pretty important topic, and I believe he hit the nail right on the head. Any person (male or female) that resorts to the use of "loaded questions", just isn't worth your time. Not only is it a sign of immaturity, as Manatank pointed out, but it is also a sign of blatant DISRESPECT.
