Two Bosses Enter: Gal'darah versus Moorabi

Welcome to another edition of Thunderdome! Two Bosses Enter, One Boss Leaves – and this week, those bosses are Gal'darah and Moorabi of Gundrak. Gal'darah steps into the ring today after a decisive victory with 59% of the vote against first-round opponent Krystallus. Moorabi's impressive 65% victory against first-round opponent Trollgore lends him an equally aggressive appeal.
The ground rules:
- Assume that the opponents and their minions share similar levels, health pools and comparative overall damage output.
- This deathmatch takes place in neutral territory, which shall not hinder either boss from using his usual encounter abilities.
- All the usual minions will be available to each boss.
- Don't get caught up in gameplay mechanics and what actual players might do in each encounter.
- Don't neglect style, story and scale.
Gal'darah (Gundrak)I'm gonna spill your guts, mon!
Gal'darah, the High Prophet of Akali, is the last boss of Gundrak. During battle, he summons Spirit Rhinos that charge opponents, knocking them back and dealing significant damage. Gal'darah periodically morphs into Rhino form, Impaling combatants with Puncture damage and immobilizing them on his horn for 5 seconds. His Whirling Slash: nasty, just nasty.
- Enrage 125% attack speed increase for 10 seconds
- Whirling Slash Vicious AoE damage
- Puncture Stacking DoT
- Impale Randomly impales an opponent, immobilizing for 5 seconds and dealing damage
Moorabi (Gundrak)
Get ready for somethin'... much... BIGGAH!
Moorabi, the High Prophet of Man'toth, is an Ice Troll residing in Gundrak. The hallmark of his battle tactics: transforming into a Mammoth, which further increases his already healthy damage output.

The deathmatch

Unless Gal'darah has a way of getting [Less-Rabi], I think Moorabi would come out on top. How do you impale a mammoth?

Also, Mammoths are immune to impale ;)

Puncture will bleed Moorabi to death. Moorabi can be a challenge, but Gal's Impale/Puncture will definitivetly be enough to give him victory.

Gal'darah will win, whenever Moorabi tries to transform Gal'darah impales him. Plus, he gets a free achievement. Next thing you know Gal'darah is flying around on his Red Proto Drake.

Welcome to the Pachyderm playoff, everyone!
This match kind of reminds me of a trip I took to the zoo recently. I saw several elephants and a couple of rhinos. Although I think in RL that an elephant might be able to take on a rhino, I believe that the rhino takes it in this case. First of all, Moorabi won't be able to transform if he spends most of the fight impaled. Even if not impaled when he tries to transform, there's still the small matter of charging ghost rhinos (which would be a great band name). Finally, even if the elephant transformation happens, that doesn't mean that Gal can't impale him...it just means that he might not be able to juggle him in the air quite as easily.
For my money, Gal'darah will prove to be the most powerful pachyderm in the place.

This is a good match up. I didn't know which way I saw this coming out until I read Kar On E's comment. I think he's got it right. The charges and impales are great interrupts, and Gal'darah is going to get the achievement.

I hope Gal'darah's not going for the Less-Rabi achievement for the red proto-drake. That one's tough.

One turns into a Rhino, the other a Mammoth, and they charge head on into each other. Azeroth is treated to a mountainous feast of Rhino Dogs and Last Week's Mammoth.

Come on, these two wouldn't fight! They're buddies! Trolls for the cause or whatever!
I'm going to pretend that they're fighting over a woman. So some woman who has both of them enamored because she too can turn into an animal. (A... sloth let's say.) Moorabi will come in and yell "Hey Gal! Want ta see ma new girlfriend?" And Gal'darah will cheerfully respond "Sure, mon, but ya got ta see ma special lady too!"
And they'll pull out their wallets to show eachother the pictures and gasp! They're the same girl! One will yell backstabber, one will yell jerk! Soon enough there will be rhinos and mammoths flying all over the damn place.
"Wait, mon!" Gal'Darah will yell, an impressive feat considering he is currently a rhino, "Why we fightin' over some lady?"
"I dunno," Moorabi will shout down, another impressive feat considering he is currently impaled on Gal's rhino horn, "We been such good friends for so long!"
"Remember when we killed our gods to drive off da scourge?"
"Yeah mon dat was sweet."
And they high fived it out and decided that a woman will never bring them apart again. And a woman never did. However some punk adventurers came in soon after and brutally murdered them because some yahoo in Dalaran said he needed Gal'darah dead. Jerks.

Epic troll rage shall ensue! But look at these two, it's Rocky versus Rocky. As the battle ensues thier both going to continue to piss each other off!

Eventually their damage is going to stack to extreme proportions and when the final blow is delivered both will go down just like Apollo and Balboa at the same time.

I have to admit, this would be a confusing fight. It seems like the edge would go to Moorabi, because after a certain point he's constantly a mammoth, rather than periodically one. However, consider his spirit rhinos.
It would go like this. Moorabi has had enough of answering to Gal'darah. He challenges him, and they square off. Moorabi hits Gal'darah with a bleed and Gal'darah starts stacking his puncture. Then Moorabi cries "get ready for something much BIGGAH!" Gal'darah, realizing what's about to happen, calls in a rhino. Interrupted. He then proceeds to morph into a rhino himself, and impales Moorabi, who takes serious damage during the five second ride. Preparing to shift again, Moorabi is impaled a second time, leaving him nearly dead. But Gal'darah is just a troll again. This time Moorabi does get the mammoth form off, and goes to work. But he's too far gone, and Gal'darah pops his Enrage, which helps puncture finally down the upstart.
In the aftermath, Eck takes Moorabi's place as Priest of Slime.

This is a curbstomp. Gal'darah outclasses Moorabi in damage output, endurance, and interrupts.
He pulls a mammoth, you pull a rhino. He sends one of your guys to the stunquake, you send one of his to the whirlwind. That's the Drakkari way!
