World of Warcraft: Cataclysm leaked by MMO-Champion

Head over there and take a look. But be forewarned, there are significant spoilers in the post. So don't look if you care about such things.
After the break we'll take a look at some of the major points Boubouille has reported on.
New Races and Class Combinations:
- Goblins
- Worgens
- Human Hunter
- Orc Mage
- Night Elf Mage
- Dwarf Mage
- Blood Elf Warrior
- Dwarf Shaman
- Undead Hunter
- Tauren Paladin
- Tauren Priest
- Gnome Priest
- Troll Druid
- Level Cap raised to 85
- Azshara becomes a low level starting zone
- Barrens split up into two separate zones
Flying is allowed in parts of old Azeroth.
Unreleased zones and dungeons, including Hyjal, Gilneas, and Uldum will become part of WoW.
Deathwing and Azshara will be playing a major role in the Cataclysm that will happen.

MMO-champion is not Blizzard!
You can't say cataclysm info has been leaked if it's not coming from someone who either works or has worked for blizzard.
I call it pure speculation! Speculation. Please stop posting about things being leaked. Leaked information is information that is not supposed to be heard by outsiders. Bouboille, as far as I know, is not a member of Blizzard's staff.

That was my reaction as I read it.
Somehow I really like to imagine how thousand needles will look like, having been turned into thousand isles. I liked the zone somewhat the way it was, but this would really be cool.
Being a fan of the old zones as much as of the new ones, and enjoying levelling itself, this would be a great great thing to me. I'd love to re-explore the old instances, and god knows many of them can do with a little slimming *cough wailing cavern cough Maraudon*

i agree with Doomthehorde. the expansion most likely wont even be named WoW: Cataclysm.
this is purely a fanboys wishlist...and why raise the cap 5 levels when so far the trademark is 10 levels as for Old world being revamped is very unlikely, blizz has said it before, they dont plan on reworking the old map for flying mounts. and if any changes are made to the old world, it would have to be through phasing, cant change the starting experiance since technicaly all new lvl 1 toons start years before all the current hapaneings. i have to also say the playalble races leak is purely speculation too, as for the new class/race combos, id have to agree that some do look legit, but some are just too out of the blue to be real, tauren paly? makes more sense for the forsaken to be paladin, and troll druid? BE have ties with druidism, seems like they are a better pick

You people seem to be misunderstanding a leak somewhat. You're right that MMO Champion isn't Blizzard. However, if Blizzard was the one saying these things, then it wouldn't be a leak, it would be an anouncement. A leak is when information comes an anonymous person close to the source transmitting info via a third party. Using an example, an employee who wants to share info about what his company is doing but not get his ass fired for doing so will give out information to a reporter or blogger, and ask to keep his identity secret to protect his job. The 3rd party then anounces the information, maintains that it comes from a credible source, but will not tell you the source due to their obligation to protect the person's job. That's how a leak works. You are then left to decide for yourself whether the information is real or not, based on the track record provided by the 3rd party. If the 3rd party is known for lying, then yes, you don't believe it. In this case, MMO Champion is known for being very accurate, so all this leaked information is most likely to be true, especially with Blizzcon coming up this weekend where an official anouncement will be made (in my experience, the closer an information leak is made to the time of the actual anouncement, the more often it seems to be accurate). While not blindly accepting everything you read as fact is a good thing to practice, neither should you shout down every bit of information that isn't officially anounced as a 'fanboy's wishlist'.

Two months later Blizzard announced that haste would be able to lower the GDC.
Once upon a time Onyxia was dead, dead, dead and was never coming back.
Yesterday it was said that although not dead, she will be coming back.
Once upon a time Blizzard said a lot of things that would make the death knight a class that could not be...well...
and dont even get me started on the fact that Dalaran and Naxx somehow traveled all the frackin' way to northrend.

It is my belief that this is all part of the most awesome disinformation campaign in the history of the world... of warcraft. These "leaks" are coming from blizzard staff, that much we knew of, but i believe that its all a setup to make the news that is really coming at blizz-con that much more sensational.

Actually Blizzard said that it's not so much that they don't want to rework EK/Kal, but they don't have time to. Directing efforts of a new expansion towards this would take care of that.
However, though much of this sounds like it would make for a great expansion, toss things up a bit in the world, there are a few items that make it sound totally false. Namely, Tauren Paladins and Troll Druids.
If it is true, I think the hardest thing will be the deciding of which of the new content goes to everyone and which goes to only those with the expansion. Likely Worgen/Goblin will be expansion-only, as well as any 81-85 content, but I don't think any world zones will be expansion-only (except perhaps the Worgen/Goblin starting zones). Anything phased would be expansion-only, but that would likely only phase after level 80 anyway.

All that was said in the post is true including the name of the expansion. My roommate is a GM. They get a look at all the early Blizzcon stuff and all of this was in it. There's also way more you guys don't know and I won't spill, you'll know soon enough. Let's just say Onyxia wasn't brought back for a limited run just because of how fun/rage inducing her raid was at 60, there's a reason she of all old raid bosses was brought back. You lore nerds will start getting spastic nose bleeds come Blizzcon, I know I did.
Call me a troll. Call me a liar. I'm fine with it. Blizzcon will give you all of this info and more. Just consider this a 'credible rumor' and take with a grain of salt if you must. Honestly, I believe Boubouille got his info straight from someone at Blizzard. There's NO speculation, these are the exact same things the GM's found out about.
Now I need to make sure my roommate doesn't find out I posted this. He might stab me with his Frostmourne nobody is allowed to touch.

Don't get too excited. I have 2 words for you - red herring.
They are pulling the new race/class combos from data mining. That same data mining that found the Night Elf Mohawk spells...
Besides, its a week before Blizzcon. Everyone is crowing that the new races are goblin and worgen because of masks for the Halloween event. (Again, data mined information).
I for one, will wait until Blizzcon for the real information about the coming expansion (which may not even be called Cataclysm. That could be a red herring and they could have had that TMed for a future expansion (the last expansion before the next gen MMORPG?) and this could be Emerald Dream or whatever...
