How can Tauren paladins and priests will exist when night elf paladins will not?The Tauren got their druidism from the night elves. And now they evolve further and faster in the holy school than the NE's do? Bit weird if u ask me.Paladins are a holy priest/warrior combination. I think that if Tauren can become paladins the night elves should be able to aswell.

It says pretty specifically that the Tauren are questioning the Night Elves' belief system, and as a result, they are discussing the merits of following the sun. Night Elves are NOT doubting their own druidic beliefs, and thus, are NOT going to be paladins.

It's probably out of class balance nowadays. And I'm not talking about if one class is better than the other. I mean actual balance between Horde and Alliance. In TBC, when the total for Paladin reached 3, it was accompanied by a single Paladin race for the Horde while the Alliance got a Shaman race. So it ended up evening out on both sides, which got 3 of their originally faction-only class and 1 of their opposite-faction class. Now that Dwarves are getting Shaman and Tauren are getting Paladin, that would make it 2-3 Paladin and 3-2 Shaman. (Horde - Alliance) Evening out Paladins to 4 races would mean giving the Horde another Shaman, and unless Goblins are capable of Shamanism, it's very unlikely that we'd get another. Forsaken and Blood Elves just don't swing that way.Out of all the races Horde-side to give Paladin to, Tauren seem to be the most plausible because of their bulk and capabilities as a tank, plus their normally peaceful attributes. Forsaken wouldn't work because they preach to a different power than the Light, and unlike Priests, there isn't something like a "Dark Paladin" power like Shadow Priests have. Lore-wise, Forsaken heal as a Priest because they might need to to forticate and heal their armies. Orcs are too savage to preach to the Light. Trolls are capable, but it might take a while to actually set in.

Night elves worship the moon. Even the priests. Their priests and druids get their powers from Elune. The tauren discussions, on the other hand, imply that the power of the sun will lead to them controlling the Holy Light. The Holy Light comes in many forms, but the moon isn't one of them. The sun? Sure.

Suzaku, I think you have to pick between "night elf priests get their power from the moon" and "priests can't get power from the moon".
