Blizzard retracts posted BlizzCon schedule
EDIT: New schedule is up. You can find it here. This morning we were greeted with the schedule of BlizzCon panels and everything was nice and comfy. No mention of the next expansion in the panels, but that was to be expected. After all, the class panel was on there and I'm sure Ghostcrawler would love to talk for an hour about what the classes will be like in WoW 4.0.2.
But then this afternoon the schedules disappeared. Suddenly they were giving the Blizzard page not found error. Neth has since appeared and said that "the actual schedule is yet to be posted up."
But we want to be sure that you know what they posted, and at least what the outline of BlizzCon will look like – even though it appears there'll be changes.
Draw your own conclusions about what Cataclysmic event could cause this.
So below are screen grabs of the schedule Blizzard didn't want you to see. We'll update when the new schedule is released.
BlizzCon 2009 is coming up on August 21st and 22nd! We've got all the latest news and information. At BlizzCon you can play the latest games, meet your guildmates, and ask the developers your questions. Plus, there's some great looking costumes.Filed under: News items, BlizzCon

There was at least one typo on the original schedule. That is probably what it was. I can't imagine they will put anything on there that would show off the expansion details, or even the announcement, as they still want to "surprise" us. :P

Blizzard doing something very simple that would get people talking even more about Blizzcon? I think we are at such a HIGH sensitivity for Blizzcon news that any sort of new information today and every day until Friday will be given the CSI treatment. Instead of theory crafting about what we can expect to see in a potential tomorrow, I'm more concerned with what I'm playing now. With that said, Tank/dps lfg Heroic daily, pst.

Guys, it's up over at blizzcon.com. Nothing much is different.

Surprisingly every time we post something like this on WoW.com, the problem gets corrected a few minutes later.

One big change, now after the Opening Ceremony there's a WoW Preview Panel instead of Diablo III. Sounds like the expansion after all.

The Blizzcon Schedule will be a new playable race in the next expansion.

I don't remember a world of warcraft preview panel though, that must be your cataclysm.

Due to an unforseen scheduling conflict, Ozzy Osbourne will be unable to perform on Saturday night. Everyone please welcome our new princes of darkness: The Jonas Brothers!
Otome Aug 18th 2009 8:51PM
While just about everyone who read that would groan, I cheer.
If such a thing happened, they would aggro the entire convention center faster than a level 10 in Deadmines and we'd finally be done away with the blight on humanity that is the Jonas Brothers.

Jesus, why is it that most of the girls that play WoW are chubby
micgillam Aug 19th 2009 4:05PM
Probably the same reason most of the boys that play WoW are chubby:
too much time sitting and clicking, not enough time walking, running, biking, swimming, kicking a soccer ball around at the park, shootin' some hoops at the Y, getting some pickup ultimate frisbee going, dancing, pumping iron, snorkeling, skiing, rollerblading, surfing, skating, hitting some golf balls at the driving range, playing some street hockey, beach volleyball, tennis, badminton, touch football, push-ups, speed-walking, power-walking, yoga, pilates, plyometrics, aerobics, etc.
And less-than-ideal eating habits to boot. Veggie stir-fry takes you away from the game longer than cheesy poofs.
