WoW Moviewatch: Leeroy 7 - The Hunter's Mark
Warning: There are spoilers for the movie in this review.
It's only a few short days until BlizzCon, and I can't think of a better way to celebrate than a new release from Herculean Productions. Those fun loving folks have released Episode 7 of The Chronicles of Leeroy. This episode is specifically titled The Hunter's Mark.
Our noble Horde adventurers continue to get farmed by the evil Alliance rogue from last episode. Just when we think Leeroy and company will never reclaim their bodies, a heroic hunter arrives to save the day. The real punchline for that moment is, of course, the soundtrack. And I assure you -- I've not laughed so hard for some time. (Maybe it's the old fogey in me.) The new mage also makes an appearance, which gets me curious about where her subplot is going to go.
I continue to really love the Leeroy series. I can't express how much I love being reminded of the fun and community we should all share, and Herculean Productions does an outstanding job of doing just that.

That was brilliant :D
I LOL'ed several times ^^
Leejin, make sure you watch them all, it seems weird if you haven't seen the other episodes..

Hunter FTW!

Did they really have a black man in blackface?

The Chronicles of Leeroy are by far my favorite WoW videos thus far. Please keep 'em comin' guys!

effin' hilarious. i love seeing in each episode how they accomplish the in-game look but IRL, either with vintage doctor who-level special effects and costumes or what have you. i hope they have as much fun making them as i do watching them.

I hate this show.
-It's hard to hear so, of course, there's no captioning.
-They apparently have no money for costumes, having spent it all on not getting captioning or a better camera, so they make things out of paint and cardboard that looks like something a kindergartener made.
-The actors are HORRIBLE, do they even play Warcraft?
-They can't afford props from paying the kindergarteners, so apparently they went digging through Granny's closet/attic.
Good grief. If these people worked at the History Channel, they would have shows saying there were zombies at Normandy and aliens at Trafalgar. If they worked for National Geographic, they'd write articles about chupacabra and Bigfoot. They should NOT be making videos. Go back to the shoe store, or Walmart, or wherever you dragged yourself out of.

"Good grief. If these people worked at the History Channel, they would have shows saying there were zombies at Normandy and aliens at Trafalgar."
But that would actually make for an awesome history channel show. Especially if they did reenactments.

Where was his pet?

I watch it for the mage sub-plot, My child-tax plays a mage and I can totaly see her saying "but were are the shoes!" :-)

The hunter didn't use flare? I call bs on his 2914 rating!

Sorry, just didn't do it for me.

This was one of the worst vid's ever.
The chick trying to buy something is the most irritating scene ever. Her voice especially, but just about everything about her falls into the same category: Unjustifiably Annoying.
Blackface on a blackguy.. I was so lost as to who he was trying to be, or why he was wearing blackface to begin with..
And what's with Leeroy's horns, they look like paper mache poop..
Most of the props given a little time could be made out of light wood or fiberglass even, and you know, ACTUALLY come off as looking decent.
TL:DR: Bad acting + No budget + Bad editing + Bad story = Bad Video, sorry :(
SPOILER:
Not to mention the fact that the ending makes NO sense whatsoever. Hunter uses hunter's mark on rogue (I lol'ed) shoots him, the rogue doesn't die and stealths away, while the hunter does nothing to go after/track/chase him, and it's almost like he forgot the rogue was even there.. end.

My apostrophes are off, I know, shh.

Everyone who is putting down this series: go watch some vintage Monty Python! "It's so bad, it's genius."
While I'm totally enjoying these videos, I just don't buy "Flash" as an Orc. He's way too cute.

you guys were kinda late on putting this one up. the video was released over there about 3 weeks ago. also, i didn't find this one nearly as funny as the rest, but it was still good. i'll expect another episode will be hitting their page soon. so everyone that likes the series, bookmark em.

Was there really someone in blackface? Was that necessary.....?
