Ditto on taking offense to the Jersey statement.

Get off the turnpike sometime, and stay away from Camden and the whole Newark area, and you'll see we do actually deserve the name 'Garden State'.

Agreed a thousand times over with Tyrnas. Jersey is an absolutely gorgeous state. Go drive around the Medford Lakes area for a while if you don't believe me.

Agreed with the above. I'm from south Jersey, which is a beautiful area even in the towns, but especially when you drive into the woods or farmland, it's gorgeous. Jersey isn't all bad!

This makes me think of one of my roommates in college (being a Jersey native himself). One of his favorite things to say was, "Kiss her where it smells. Take her to New Jersey."
