BlizzCon 2009: Lineblogging at the badge pickup

Good BlizzCon eve everybody! While Schramm was able to sneak in and get the inside scoop on the goody bag, some of us are still sitting out in here in line waiting patiently for our turn. While we were waiting, I grabbed my somewhat low quality woot purchased camera, had Michael Gray save me a place in line, and got some photos of the line. It's pretty long at the moment. At the least, it's snaked around the convention center. Check out our gallery below.

Man...with that many people grinding for badges, it looks like additional instances won't be able to be launched.

The line seemed longer than last year and we showed up 2 hours early...gonna wait till later tonight.

Good call. Last year we got to our hotel at 6pm, went and had dinner, got in line at 8, had our badges before 8:30.
I don't see the compulsion to stand in line this early when you can't even get into the con until tomorrow.

(Flex) I have my badge already. Indeed, I got it *gasp* yesterday! *Shows off*
Being friends with people from DC comics got me access to an exhibitors badge. No swag bad though :( I'm hoping I can pick that up inside or something.

You know you play WoW too much when you find yourself looking at pictures of people lining up early to get a badge to a convention that your not even going too, that doesn't even start till tomorrow!
