BlizzCon 2009: The goody bag

One interesting thing of note: there is no program in the bags this year -- there's a flyer that will let us pick up a program at the show. Probably means that a) there is secret stuff that's going to be announced, and b) that Blizzard doesn't want us knowing about it ahead of time. Interesting.
You can see everything in the bags in the gallery below, and after the jump, we've even listed all of the items out. Not as much in the bag as there was last year, it seems, but there are some very nice exclusive items to be had. NOTE: It appears that there is no beta invites in the goody bag, unlike previous years.
BlizzCon 2009 is here! WoW.com has continuing coverage, bringing you the latest in Cataclysm news, live blogs, galleries, and reports right from the convention floor. Check out WoW.com's Guide to BlizzCon for the latest! Here's the full list of everything:

I've gotta go check eBay for a second. Hey Mike...what did you say your seller name was?
Mike Schramm Aug 20th 2009 8:14PM
You joke, but actually, this is probably the bag we'll eventually give to you guys.

EBay values may plummet when people see that the loot card doesn't include the traditional beta key. That certainly wiped out 99% of my regret that I'm not at the Con. Anyone who wants one can have the minipet for $40. How much are people really going to pay for the Raynor statue or the authenticator?
Todd Aug 20th 2009 9:24PM
Yeah aside from the figure nothing too special I have to say. Maybe they are trying to cut down on the number of people who come expecting the ebay price of their goody bags will pay for the whole trip.

The hand sanitizer is a nice addition.
It's crazy how many people get sick at conventions.

Looking at the stein advertisement... I recognize the arthas one, horde and alliance ones... whats the other one in the middle?
Trent Aug 20th 2009 6:27PM
According to the text at the bottom, I assume it's the "Dragon stein," as the most prominent figure appears to be a dragon. Though it looks like there's a Naga at the very right, and I can't tell what the thing at the bottom right is. Hehe, fuel to the speculation I'm sure :).
Trent Aug 20th 2009 6:34PM
Nevermind. Upon closer inspection, the one on the very right appears to be a drake of the green dragonflight, and the figure on the bottom right appears to be the lower half of a blue drake. So the stein is likely just the different dragonflights. They *could* be the Aspects themselves, but look too basic to be them. Especially if the prominent figure is black...I'm sure Blackwing would look much more threatening than that.

www.Worldofwarcraft.com posted an official release statement about the stein. It's called the Charge of the Great Dragonflight, and apparantly shows each of the aspects. It ships in October.

Wait, wait, wait.
Was that a Hand Sanitizer? O_o
Sinzaram Aug 20th 2009 6:17PM
Of course, do you really want to be stuck at a convention that may or may not be filled with sweaty beard-necks without hand sanitizer?
Optimist Aug 20th 2009 6:19PM
Hrm. I suppose you're right. In hindsight, I would have brought my own.
Just unexpected that Blizzard would supply it :P
Amogayvhi Aug 20th 2009 6:34PM
They gave out hand sanitizer last year, and I think the year before possibly. Its something they regularly do. Infact, I think alot of conventions give it out considering the number of people running around touching everything.
Dixonij Aug 20th 2009 7:28PM
Hand Sanitizer is one of the most underrated awesome con freebies that could possibly exist.
vorpalbunnie Aug 20th 2009 6:16PM
I hope each of you are using that hand sanitizer! ^^
TiM Aug 20th 2009 6:18PM
What no Blizzcon the flamethrower? The kids would have loved that one.
Zeets Aug 20th 2009 6:27PM
It's with Blizzcon: The Toilet Paper.
chainlink12 Aug 20th 2009 7:20PM
Space Balls references FTW.
Suzaku Aug 20th 2009 9:30PM
Pointing out that obvious movie referances are FTW FTL.
Redielin Aug 20th 2009 6:27PM
Hmm. Space Mech/suit-thingy, "Raynor".
Perhaps our plucky Space Marshall gets a new ride in Starcraft II?
