BlizzCon 2009: What we're bringing

We're spending our day traveling to BlizzCon, so we figured while we were still in the air, we'd let you in on a little trade industry secret: what we're bringing to the show. The gallery below offers you a look at just what it takes to turn out the kind of BlizzCon coverage we'll be bringing you this weekend -- the tech, the gear, and the, er, beverages.
We're just hoping security lets us through with all of this stuff. Especially Alex -- oh sure, the hammer's fine, but that JCVD-endorsed caffeinated gum is the kind of thing that will get you pulled out of line. If he's not there in time for the meetup tonight, you'll know why.

I have to say, you guys sure do pack in the Macbook's. I didn't realize WoW.com bloggers were Mac fanboys, just like me =D

I am sure that I am not alone when I say:
Please Please Please mass produce (bumper)stickers, shirts or buttons with the graphic from your Wow.com t-shirt. Pretty please, with ice cream on top. :)
I have not found a suitable off-beat sticker to replace my faded "I poke badgers with spoons" (watch Eddie Izzard's Dressed to Kill if you don't get it) sticker on my car. I only have one sticker on my car at a time and that graphic would be perfect. It would make the average person go "Hmmm."

Is that a Batman (original!) animated series DVD I see there? Excellent call.

Ok, I do kind of wish I could have gone to the reader meet up, just to see if peoples' personalities matched these photos. They do appear rather telling in some ways. :D
Turpster - Yikes. No nonsense. (i.e., no fun)
Michael - You do realize you're going away and not sitting on the couch. Right? Think man!
Mike - The fun! We found it!
Alex - This array made me think of Saturday morning cartoons when I was a kid, and ACME. Half of that is going to come in handy, and the other half you won't touch all weekend while you lament the things you forgot.
Elizabeth - This reads 'safe and down to business'.
Adam - Same as above.
Robin - ... my first thought was "WTF?" and the second was to giggle. :)
Zach - You're a little anal retentive my friend, yes? Embrace it!
Dan - You fall neatly between Zack and Adam.
Are even half of those close? LOL

Heh. The best two items are: 1) Dr. Horrible and 2) Tums.

Nice insight into blogger personalities, but it's fairly annoying that an Estee Lauder ad was blocking a full 1/4 of each picture. Rolling over it just made it get bigger and clicking close reverted it to the 1/4 size. I've had this happen before with WoW.com galleries. I understand the need for endorsements to keep the site
free but that placement is kind of annoying.
I'm a big fan of WoW.com but who's in charge of where those ads get placed?

I think I see the laptop we were on last night.
