Lets hope she writes a decent length book this time, as Arthas was way too short on detail. I found the time skips were handled badly, since they made me feel more like I was reading the Arthas equivalent of 'This is Your Life'. Any emotion or potential subtlety was just slapped in your face, just to be sure you couldn't miss it, e.g that he was obsessed with his horse or that Jaina's not going with him felt like a betrayal. The overall effect of Goldens books was to make me feel like Arthas was some spoiled brat, rather than the brooding, dark character he should have been. I've not read Knaak, but I really don't know why some of you are blowing so much smoke up Golden, since she's a pretty awful writer too. I will not be reading the Cataclysm book if written by Golden.
