Not at all. Dustwallow Marsh is at the same elevation as the Barrens, which is noticeably higher than Thousand Needles (as evidenced by The Great Lift). Similarly, from Thousand Needles, the terrain slopes *upward* into Feralas, though there are areas to the south that are at a similar elevation to Thousand Needles. My bet, though, is on major geographical change rather than sea level.
