World of WarCrafts: Tanking tough with arigurumi meanie

How cute can a malign Death Knight really be? Apparently, if she's a Gnome Death Knight done up arigurumi style - pretty darn cute. Espyr of Sen'jin-US shared this gift she crafted with love for her boyfriend's pocket tank, Pipps. Apparently the character behind this meanie began her illustrious career as a Warrior but has transformed into something ... biggah (in spirit, at least). "Interestingly, he has continued Pipps' story so she has 'become' a Death Knight (on another server, Steamwheedle Cartel), and outside of WoW, he has written short stories about her younger life, being raised by Dwarves," Espyr says. "I love that he can tell her whole story. It's really interesting, I think, because he really thinks it out."
Amigurumi (yes, we messed it up in the headline) dolls, originally from Japan, feature tightly crocheted, stuffed figures. Espyr added embroidery thread hair, painted black Sculpy armor and a painted felt cape to her custom character creation.
You can find the pattern Espyr used (plus plenty more amigurumi inspiration) at Geek Central Station.

Awww, such a cute little War-craft. Haha, get it? It's a Warcraft Craft. Get it? She CRAFTED something from World of WarCRAFT. So it's a War-Craft? Haha, I'm so funny. I love me.

I'm not sure what "arigurumi" is. Are you sure you don't mean "amigurumi"?

You're right -- quick typing FTL. I'll have to fix that! ;)

Awwwwwwwwwww!!! That is the greatest thing ever. Espyr, if you ever decide to go into business making those things, I'ma pre-order five of them...

haha, maybe. :) I dont think I can technically sell them, since it wasn't my pattern to start with. And that isn't kosher or whatever.
Although I literally just screamed out loud when I saw this on the site. And then showed him. :)

From a fellow amigurumi designer I must say she did a great job and the little gnome is very well done.
I am also working on designing a line of World of Warcraft amigurumi and being a balance Druid myself the first one is a Boomkin!
However on the list is Playable chars (all of them), famous NPCs (input on which ones would be great, my e-mail is Kristalia.Astari@Gmail.com), Mounts, Vanity pets, monsters, Instance and raid Bosses, and WoW scenes (a crocheted scene of major cities, battle ground ect.)
I love seeing a fellow crafter's work ^_~
