Realm maintenance for August 25th, 2009

Wow, so tomorrow (or today) is Tuesday, isn't it? Personally, I've completely lost any sense of time I once had since BlizzCon kicked off Thursday night with the WoW.com meetup, but my server suddenly going down for maintenance brought me back to reality.Most realms are having regular scheduled maintenance starting at 3:00am PDT, and they'll be coming back online around 11:00am PDT. However, there is a huge chunk of servers that have already gone down as of 12:01am PDT and will be down until 11:59am PDT. My assumption is that the extended downtime will be equipping these servers with the new instance hardware we've been hearing about. You know, the stuff that will soon allow Cross-realm LFG? Yeah, that.

its finally come, the day winterhoof gets hit with the extended maintenance >_< QQ and all that jazz... well, more time to read the cirque du freak books before the movie comes out.

That's actually a side-effect of the cross-realm LFG system, as it turns it. :)

Thank god Thrall is on that list, its been having plenty of instance-based errors, and it beign a high-pop server probably isn't helping at all.

I was wondering what was going on over there. My brother just started playing a trial on Winterhoof and I'm like what the crap, why is it so crowded in the human starter area?! I'm used to being completely alone when rolling alts (and quickly deleting them).

Yeah I hear that....After the Kara horse, ZG kitty/raptor and raptor pet, WC pet, H Sethekk mount.....and the only thing I CAN zone into is Northrend Heroics, and thats even a rarity.

Yeah, I'm pretty tired of not being able to launch additional instances. We bounced against the instance wall for over half an hour before giving up on CoT:Strat the other day. It's to the point where people are advertising in LFG that they already have an instance I.D. saved. Yeesh.
