The login server is currently busy [Updated]

Many people have been writing into our tip line that they are unable to log in to their servers at this time. Both Battle.Net and non-Battle.Net users are complaining that authentication is down for them. I received the above error message myself, however my husband is able to log in just fine.
We'll keep you updated should Blizzard say anything officially or other developments arise. In the meantime, I will be trying again later as the message asks me to do.
Update 7:46PM: Most people are reporting that the authentication issues are fixed.

I just got my pc back today im installing WoW now. (Up to patch 3.2.0) I tried logging into battlen.net and my WoW account and couldn't get into either. At least this clears up that mystery.

I had to take part of the morning off to take my son to the orthodontist. Thought I would get an hour to play this morning, then remembered it was Tuesday. Is there anything worse that taking/having time off work on a Tuesday?

I cant log into the battle.net or the wow account either...my time card expired today and I cant get into add my new one.

Authenticators have nothing to do with the authentication server being down. The server is what makes sure your password is correct.

Do all of you use blizz authenticators? I do, and im getting it too. Maybe thats it?

I do not use an authenticator, but I do have a battle.net account.

No authenticator, merged with b-net...but it seems to be happening no matter what your account setup is

I tried to log in authenticator took like five mins then a little message pops up and says that the login server is busy??? Very stupid...

I can log in on one account on my machine, but not another. I think only some of the login servers are down, and it's a crapshoot as to which your character's on. In any case, it's annoying.

I can sign in to the game just fine, but oddly, i can't sign in at the website. I get the message "This service is not available."
