I think this was one of the best Blizzcons yet, but the coverage on Direct TV was pretty horrible.... Besides you guys here at WoW.com Stormdragon has put up a really good review of it and talked about the Official forum reaction to Ozzys concert, he pretty much is spot on. Check it out here (http://companyofthewolf.org/?p=268)

thank you for this. everyone was so excited about the ozzy show going into blizzcon, and then i heard almost NOTHING about it. i wasn't even sure he performed or just stood on stage in a costume and yelled "SHAAAROOONNNNN!!", or what.

No problem, I'm pretty picky about who I read regularly (because lets face it there is so much boring tripe out there ) But these guys usually have somthing to say. I also frequent Saate's site (http://www.saate.net/ ) becuase he is always right there with any changes to the game.

Awesome editorial Carlybaby81 thanks for pointing that out, yeah I have dropped by that blog from time to time it's always a good read, I agree with him about the forum trolls...they had a 12 page shit fest about how Ozzy was telling his band the audience were a bunch of Nerds....I saw the D TV cast and it wasn't anything like that the crowd loved Ozzy and Ozzy loved the crowd. I do admit I didn't believe that Ozzy actually played Wow until the host stared talking about how e played ten plus hours a day and how stoked he was over Diablo II.....it's awesome that Ozzy at his core is a gamer.

Thanks for those links Carly! I was there at the con and when I read some of those comments it confused me - I mean I lost my voice due to that concert as well as pretty much having broken hearing for a good couple hours. Everytime Ozzy did a signature song or incited the crowd it was just a rippling roar and lots of hands in the air so watching the DTV feeds or hearing "Man the crowd was so quiet" just boggled me.

One thing I didn't see in the coverage (I suppose it's too early anyway) was about music and it's role in the expansion. If all of Azeroth will be reshaped by the Catacylsm, is there a chance that we'll have all new music throughout Azeroth too? I loved the music in Lich King - it was one of the best additions to the game, and the Gilneas intro sequence music sounds great, so I'm hoping that we'll hear tons of new music throughout the old world. Any info WoW. com can score on this would be great!

Did they mention at all about the faction changes and when they will be coming at blizzcon? I am hoping its not too far off like maybe will be in Cataclysm or sooner.

I'm seeing lots of chatter in /guild and /trade over Cataclysm, but none over 3.3. I wonder if most people are too busy farming the loot pinata that is ToC and revised badges, to really look ahead to the nearer future.
