Patch 3.1.2 had following:"Players can no longer become saved to an instance when they aren't in the instance during a boss kill."Where did this go? I still get saved warning to raids without killing any bosses there.Or do I understand it wrong and it means you could get saved when people kill the boss and you are in dalaran?

Ideally, if you are not in the instance when your group kills the first boss, and you are not already saved to the instance, you will not be saved to the instance (and not eligible for loot from that boss). It'll essentially treat you like you're not in the group. (As I understand it, the game will also treat the rest of the group like you're not in the group, for purposes of small-group runs.)When you enter the instance, however, you'll be told that if you don't leave, you'll be saved to the instance. (I don't remember how long the timeout is.)
