Sargeras met his goal by possessing Medivh? I am just guessing but I think his goal was the complete subjugation/destruction of Azeroth. Granted, Medivh did a number by opening the portal on Azeroth but the champions of Azeroth have done a good job of not seeing all goodness driven off or corrupted, like it had been on Draenor. I think it is possible he might want to stick around for another shot or two.You mentioned Khadgar seeing Sargeras before killing Medivh. I believe my statement was that no one has seen him since Medivh's death. I am really just relaying something that was conveyed by a Blizzard employee with a huge DOT DOT DOT at the end of it. I apologize if that doesn't fit into your concept of how WoW lore works. The corrupted champion/hero is a reoccuring theme of WoW. Chris Metzen stated as much at the first Blizzcon. The source of evil in the lore is corruption from without, not something internal. Is this a basic truth? Well, leave that to the philosophers but WoW lore doesn't necessarily need to follow basic truths, does it? Even most of the races on Azeroth are the result of corruptions of the plans of the Titan. Just listen to the speech in your faction's city when someone kills Algalon or heck, go back and redo Uldaman.
