Multiple realms offline tonight

But really, all these realms offline are okay with me -- because I've been engaged in a captivating game of Fallout 3 as I get over some BlizzCon crud I've come down with. Yes internet, you needed to know that.
The realms offline tonight are expected to be down until 10:30 p.m. EDT, but I wouldn't count on them coming up on time. They rarely do.
It also appears a lot of people are stuck at "Connecting..." Although there has been no official response to this yet, we have been able to verify it happening at least.
The entire list of realms currently affected after the break. And while you're waiting, why not look at some hawt BlizzCon cosplay? After all, who doesn't want a little succubus in their evening browsings?
Update: Things appear to be coming back online... no promises here though.

Battle.net accounts seem to be down as well. I'm talking to multiple people on vent who are having the same issues

This is me. I haven't been able to make it past that Connecting screen all evening and I tried to get to the forums to see if others were having issues but can't get there either.

I can access the forums now at least, as of 6:58pm PST. Still unable to access the game though, stuck on "Connecting" as I have been for awhile (b.net account)

This is me too. I can log into Aerie Peak on my wife's account, but not on mine. Mine is the one that is merged with Battle.net and uses an authenticator. I am unable to get to the forums at all.

Ysondre here, recently merged battlenet too. Can't log on (DCed right after I rolled need on an item) and had difficulty logging into forum.

Wow, I can't wait until they force me onto battle.net. I have heard of nothing but problems with battle.net since it's inception and "now" blizzard is saying that it will become mandatory? :(
Also, the authenticator is a waste of money your best security is a strong password and have the program remember your user name to prevent keylogging, stop buying gold, giving your password out, don't fall for scams or give your password to anyone that promises you a rating or gear or reputaion boost, they are scamming you. New arena season will have numerous scammers promising you +2K rating, but they have to play your toon and will do it for free because they love arena so much!

There is a completely unrelated issue I believe of random people being disconnected off realms not on this list, and being unable to reconnect. For example in my ten man raid, two of us are currently disconnected, the other eight are sitting pretty in game. There were several threads about this on the official forums, before they mysteriously went down too.
