What does Blizzard have planned for a Cataclysm in-game launch event?

I mean, if its a serious revamp of everything...that would mean to be only accessed by the new exp (and its owners)...am I wrong? hope so...

it should be more like a patch, i mean, U just have access to the new races owning the exp, and the content being just part of the patch D:
not the whole content, but great part of it.
