It is because she has some sort of body suit on, it you look at her arms it shows the wrinkled fabric

She mentions on her Live Journal page that she's wearing a body suit, so the costume is one piece, plus the head piece.

The whole ensemble looks like it was a lot of hard work, so props to her for making such a great costume! Must have been a thrill to walk out on stage and show it off.
